“Fractured”

I liked the concept of a shattered mirror to depict the fractured nature of personality. In this piece, I used a black ballpoint pen to capture the simplicity of myself as the subject. I enjoy using the ballpoint pen because of it’s nimble and versatile nature. I love the complexity of metallics so I used a silver acrylic paint to show the reflective nature of a mirror.
